In the latest novel in the FunJungle series by New York Times best-selling author Stuart Gibbs, Teddy Fitzroy returns to the role of FunJungle resident criminal to solve his most improbable mystery, with a 65 million-year-old victim.

Teddy was ready for a camping trip on his friend Sage's family ranch, but then Sage gets terrible news: the skull of a rare dinosaur that had been excavated on his property mysteriously disappeared overnight in the middle of a thunderstorm, although weighed 500 pounds. Not a single footprint has been left. Since the dinosaur was a secret, the police do not believe that anyone outside the excavation could have stolen it.

A T-rex skull can sell for millions of dollars and everyone is suspected, including J.J. McCracken, the owner of FunJungle.

Meanwhile, Teddy's old enemies, Barksdale's twins, got into trouble with an illegally purchased anaconda and Teddy's fiancée Summer wants to find out who's behind the local black market reptile trade. The two cases will drag Teddy into a danger and chaos more than ever, in this stranger mystery of fiction.

My daughter loves to read. I have this book for you. He is 15 years old. He read it in one day. It's as fast as lighting when it comes to reading. Stuart Gibbs is his second favorite author. He loved this book and says he is easily one of his best. My son is also reading the series. He is 12 years old. I guess he will love it too. If not, I will check in and let the review reflect a difference of opinion. If you like Stuart Gibbs or have kids who love reading this book, it's a great choice.
