This story is beautiful, similar word and image. I took it for my three year old boy for his birthday because we love reading stories before he takes a nap or goes to bed for the night. The more I read this, the more the detailed art and the gentle rhythm of the story impressed me. Even I was yawning in the end. My three year old really had fun with all the detailed art, asking questions about what everyone is doing, where the teddy bear ended up, because the skunk and the mechanic keep coming back to each other , etc. One of my favorite reads, and he seems to like it too in his rotation.
